Brief Description:  Contributing to the life of the city at urban and pedestrian scales simultaneously, this 45’ high illuminated sculpture was installed adjacent to Lincoln’s new events arena in August, 2016.  As the sun passes through the its rich layers of stainless steel and glass, arrays of light and shadow will be reflected outward, slowly moving through the plaza. At night, two rings of powerful recessed light fixtures at the base will illuminate its expansive gesture. The forms of the sculpture may suggest a sheaf of wheat, fountain, or the supports from the historic train canopy immediately adjacent.
