Project Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration with artist on concept design, structural design, detailing, budget, fabrication, and installation sequence
  • Coordination with owner, engineers, fabricators, material and lighting consultants
  • 3D computer modeling, rendering, and animation.  Development of all working drawings for fabrication
  • Project manager for sculpture installation.  Active participant of installation crew.

Brief Description:  Spanning 365′ in the new terminal of the Wichita Airport, the sculpture’s wing-like gesture floats gracefully through the airport lobby.  The beauty of the artwork is enhanced through the intricacy of its details and it’s mysterious tensile presence.
